Who in the world said it was OK for May to be here? I am still trying to get over Easter! Which by the way was just so lovely.
Laura and I spent Easter Weekend in Roma for Easter in the Country. With glue guns ready we were geard up to make Felt Flowers with all the patrons visiting Showing of the Quilts with Roma Patchwork & Crafters Inc. There were wall to wall quilts showing off all local talents plus a beautiful display of other handcrafts by members of the patchwork groups.
Many went away with their own handmade Trio of Felt Flowers at our Make & Take stall along with a new found respect for 100% Merino Wool Felt. I am still stunned by the way people saw the luscious colours, putting some together that I would never have thought possible!
Thank you so much Deb for inviting me to Roma and another thank you must go to Liz who let us stay in her beautiful little flat while we were there, very spoilt indeed. I will surely be back in the future for more felt fun.
Now for the things you've all been waiting for are the two newest additions to my Glitter Merino Wool Felt Collection, Pink Carousel and Rose Gold.
These are the most delicious new colours to the collection yet! I know for a fact that the Rose Gold has been one you've all been wanting for such a long time, but the Pink Carousel is just too much!
Last but not least... I can't contain my excitement... I am going to be a pattern contributor to One Thimble Sewing E-Zine Issue 19! For many years I have always wanted to design something simple to show off other features of the felt like its durability and safe uses with children. And now I have that chance. I will be next to other accomplished designers giving you the chance to go wild with crafting inspiration for your children this winter.
One Thimble's next issue is heavily featuring Children At Play. So you just know it's going to be another fabulous edition. Also Jen the editor has just released some fabulous new information about early subscribers! Check out her post here and be sure to head over to One Thimble now to get your early edition.
You know I don't say it often enough, but Thank You. Sometimes it can be really hard to juggle life as a work from home mum but when you have such amazing people like yourselves to deal with it really does make it worth coming into my craft room every morning and starting my work.
Take Care Lovelies and I will be chatting to you again soon!
