Little Miss T Turns 6, A Colour Dye Lot Change & Delivery Lead Times For The Crazy Craft Season

Oh Miss T, where has the time gone!

She's 6! I can't believe she's 6 already. I feel like it was only yesterday when we were dancing around here in the craft room to Disney songs and listening to her tell me the most amazing stories while I was packing orders.

I've been contemplating this for a while, and you've seen her use my machine so I know she understands it well. It was time to get her the one thing most sewing mums dream about doing with their little one, her very own sewing machine. Now I had considered getting her something much more durable and long lasting, but I just could not go past this baby pink We R Stitch Happy childrens sewing machine.

It's just so adorable, and after a few test runs (and yes it's quite clunky and loud) it actually sews really well! I can't wait to start a few projects with her. She's already picking out her fabric and felt from the cupboard lol.

Winter Breeze Wool Felt Colour Dye Lot Change

For as long as you have been with me you may have noticed from time to time certain colour lots of felt may have changed slightly.

For this reason I always make sure these changes are issued to you through messages and email notifications. Especially more so with one of our most popular Winter Breeze.

The previous shade was a sweet and pale bluish green tone. After discussing this with the manufacturer this dye lot has changed to a very pale greenish tone and is quite delicious if I say so myself.

It's Beginning To Feel A Lot Like Christmas... Crazy Crafters Season

Yes, it's that time of year again! You're on instagram and are getting inspired to venture over to pinterest to make some elabourate and deliciously beautiful creation for Christmas.

It can also mean more traffic online and slightly longer lead times. When it's quiet lead times are usually within 1 to 2 days (company policy is 2-3 day's) but in in peak crafting season like now until December lead times change to 2-5 day's.

Since you are always so pleasantly patient and have a wonderful understanding of how my business runs I just want to say just how wonderful you all are and I really am blessed to be working in such a wonderful industry, cause at the end of the day, Crafty People Are Happy People.
