Refund and Returns Policy

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 
Products Exempt from Return
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. PDF Downloads, DIY Craft Kits and Sewing patterns.
How to return
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase or your original order number for your online purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. 
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted.
Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Change of Mind Before Shipping
If a customer changes their mind after purchasing products from us on our website, and before the items have been shipped, a 15% restocking fee will be incurred. This fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a store credit will be applied to your account in the form of a discount voucher for use in future orders. This will be provided within one day of processing the return. 
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded in the form of a discount voucher, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
Exchanges will be handled in the same way as returns. The item must be returned to My Felt Lady in its original resalable condition. Once inspected you will receive an email advising of the approval/rejection of the exchange. Upon approval, we will exchange the item for the same value and send it back to you at our cost. If rejected we will return the goods to you at our cost.
Damaged or defective goods
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Please email us with the details and photos of the damage before returning the goods. Once we receive your claim we will contact you with details on how to return if we deem the item is indeed defective. The goods will be returned at your cost and upon receipt it will be inspected and you will be emailed with the outcome. Should the goods be deemed defective or damaged you will receive a replacement. If the goods are deemed not defective or damaged it will be returned to you at our cost.  
Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund in the form of a store credit, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
